#Spiritsays is…

Divine DIY. Daily dollops of good. A north star for transformation. A direct form of revelation. Living breathing grace.

Who is #spiritsays

#Spiritsays is actually a team of spirit collaborators who want us to live our healthiest and happiest but even higher than that, they want us to love unconditionally and serve.

We are all direct conduits to God—a lightning rod for all that wants to be known.

High-vibe beings

K: Who is spirit says?

S: You are writing it with your divine collaborators. Us.

K: Is it from Source, average Joe spirits, higher frequency beings, spirit guides?

S: Yes.

Like an inter-dimensional breakfast club, your friends, relatives, masters, and celestial guides invite you for a brunch and learn, with mimosa or without.

How it works

There is no elite process. Admittedly, it got a little raucous in the beginning when I invited all comers to contribute but now, with two decades of #spiritsays under my belt, I say a simple prayer, listen for the first few words or intent and start writing. Sometimes I am simply the scribe (aka transcriptionist) and other times I am the author, but at all times there is divine oversight and a purpose to the pen.

God and gang send me their talking points and they get positively chatty.

There is purpose in your storytelling, your spirit says. It is a soft enlightenment, a way of opening the door yet not requiring a foot to wedge as you sell the product. It is for the fearful and those who have left fear by the wayside. For all who see, the stories will resonate with the intended target, messaging to their soul as a way to improve, inspire, comfort, remind.

Spying a shadow through a rock

The story of #spiritsays

Today, over 25,000 tune in to get their daily dose of channeled inspiration but before there was an intuitive author who sat fingers poised, ready for the feels and the first words to flow, there was a clueless clam who didn’t know she had yet to open.

You think small but there is no small in spirit says. There is no room for small. It requires boldness and a willingness to do the work necessary to scribe as the old writers and scribblers did—attention to detail, letting go of ego, letting your fingers type as your mind thinks of other things. You came as a willing channel to help and now that you are living your potential, we are so proud and will close doors to anything that is less than supportive of your potential.

I’ve always heard that Spirit is never to tell you what to do and while this is probably true most of the time, there are times when they step in with the proverbial cattle prod if we’re not paying attention or dragging our heels—give our shoulders a little shake to wake us up.

Marching orders

According to Spirit, I am to do readings, scribe for God and goodness, fight fear and dogma, teach others how to hear what I hear and do everything except wash windows every third Thursday between 2:00 and 4:00. When they told me to write #spiritsays, I had no idea that it would evolve into a daily serial of clichés, pop culture, and butt-kicking wisdom, nor did I understand the impact that it would have.

Of course, Spirit intended to pack an inspirational punch. Years of full-blown readings under my belt, now I was being directed to channel a daily sentence or three of spirituality. Easy-peasy! I thought I was being offered “light duty” for time well-served. I should have known better. Spirit is always evolving us; opening doors for us to sustain and support others. Love (serving others) is, after all, what we came here to do.

I’ve published a #spiritsays every day for 10 years. EVERY SINGLE DAY. That’s 3749 and counting. Light duty, my keister!

Going big

Initially, they would say it is time to write and I would sit down to jot a thought. A gaggle of spirit professors would then grade the page, critiquing, suggesting, tweaking, or authoring anew. I would feel their intent and understanding would dawn—I would get the gist. After a few of these sessions, and in full agreement with Barnum’s “Go Big or Go Home” philosophy, I took it upon myself to send a shout out to all otherworldly writers including the Shaws, Hemingways, and Faulkners. Then, just for kicks and giggles, I added crossed-over comedians and recently passed playwrights (this century) to the RSVP list. Even though the spirit wisdom was being funneled through layers of God’s white light, it got a little raucous, like a comedy club on a Saturday night. FYI, there are no unused words in heaven. The masters (Jesus, Buddha, Thoth) didn’t put the kibosh on the run-on ramblings and silly scribbles, but they did add their energetic layer to tighten the message and smooth out the delivery.

Every once in a while I get a wild hair and think I know better. The result is always the same. When I ask which version of #spiritsays my husband likes better, mine or Spirit’s, without fail it is always Spirit’s. And I walk away grinning at my silliness.

Now, over 20 years later, I’d like to think I’m a little savvier to Spirit ways. That said,“I know nothing!” —Sergeant Schultz, Hogan’s Heroes

I rarely know the intended recipient(s) of the #spiritsays message and, even when I think I know, others will email me claiming it was for them and exactly what they needed to hear.

I do know

  • Spirit will “seize the day” and any opportunity to offer guidance, comfort and lift us up
  • 1000 people can read the same #spiritsays and each of them will interpret it differently
  • Not every #spiritsays will resonate with you, but those that are meant to hit home will
  • #Spiritsays heals—not so much by the words themselves but because they are layered with divine light and love

I have fallen in love with #spiritsays, been amazed at the power and purpose of these little dollops of grace, and will gratefully be Spirit’s sidekick scribe forevermore. And, last I heard, that’s just about how long it will be.
